Modena Construction

Modena Construction approached us after being let down by a web development agency. Their site built by the previous agency broke due to poor build quality and lack of maintenance. The MD at Modena Construction got in contact needing a fast resolution. Within the same week of the briefing, we had a new brochure site up and running. It was safe to say the team was elated.

Digital transformation for Modena Construction.

Challenge

Modena Construction were faced with a critical issue when their site went down and the development team who had advised the need to migrate to a new site abandoned them. We had to build a brochure site from scratch within a very short window.

Solution

Our plan of action: 1) set up a holding page that read 'under construction - new website incoming!' with a lead form & reviews from clients 2) announced on socials the new site was in development 3) collate project collateral for the new site 4) created a sitemap with copy structure per page 5) built the new website

Result

By setting up the holding page it resolved any immediate damage to the brand for new site visitors while we got to work on the new and what we thought to be the temporary site build. Within a week we had the new site up and running. The Directors of the business were thrilled we remedied the solution in such a short space of time and appointed us to help them build their digital footprint.

Content strategy, creation & implementation

Challenge

After developing the website it became clear, Modena Construction had a range of transformative projects under their belt without much evidence of it. Our approach was simple, to document the journey of how Modena Construction are exceptional at transforming spaces - so we baked this into the brand.

Solution

As part of the content strategy we proposed to the senior leadership team to actively document the process under three key areas: Before, During & After. This meant we would have an arsenal of content at the ready to talk about the condition of the sites before the work took place and what the impact was after. This was all under the umbrella brand tagline "We transform spaces." Simple yet effective.

Result

By documenting the work and framing the content from a before, during and after perspective the audience were presented with an interesting story to follow the journey of ongoing work from the brand. The social accounts of the business became an extended portfolio offering transparency over the stages a project would evolve through. From gritty & ugly settings to beautiful well designed public settings.

Social media strategy & management

Challenge

With the wheels in motion with a new website and content created documenting the work, Modena Construction needed a platform to showcase all the hard work the team had put in. Prior to our strategy the social media was very generic stock image led creating a generic construction companies page.

Solution

We decided to make the weakness a strength. The nature of the business meant they would be working in gritty surroundings for 80-90% of the time, until they had transformed the space. This meant content was an issue for the team...or so they thought. We flipped the scenario and used this as a content pillar.

Result

Since documenting the process of projects Modena Construction have went from strength to strength. The business has grown by 8% year on year with 80% of their client base stating they were aware of Modena's social media before purchasing. Years later our strategy is still in place and we are now an advisor to the senior leadership team. They transform spaces, we transformed their social.
